About the course

Lasting periodontal health depends on the entire team pulling in the same direction—including the patient. This course explores why patient ownership is essential to managing a chronic disease, and how an aligned dental team makes that ownership possible. Every team member will leave with a periodontal perspective they can apply right away: unified diagnosis, consistent messaging, and a hands-off approach that builds patient trust and accountability. The result is a practical method for engaging patients as true partners in their own periodontal health. Course Objectives: • Identify the keys for getting your patients to OWN their disease. • Understand how consistent communication among your entire dental team is integral for patient accountability and case acceptance. • Implement team strategies that build patient accountability for long-term periodontal and implant health.
